The Bottom Line
If the average iPod has only 12 paid tracks on it... And the majority of young music fans are now getting their music for FREE via file-sharing, don’t you think it’s time to re-think the business of selling music and re-connect with these people?

Whether you were once a certified platinum artist or the next big thing, myTracks offers you a new way to make money off your music downloads in a time where soundscan numbers are dropping like a “Lead Zeppelin”... oh, you know what we mean.

myTracks is a revolutionary music download service that is giving music fans a real and compelling reason to make the choice NOT to file share when it comes to discovering and downloading new music.

Give myTracks a try. It can start making a difference.

How does myTracks pay the artists?
Re-think how you are selling your music. Because myTracks is an unlimited subscription MP3 service, we have changed the way music is monetized to enable greater earning potential for artists and labels in an environment that appeals to the file-sharing mindset.

myTracks gives you 3 innovative solutions.

1. myTracks Referrals Program
myTracks pays you $ 6.00 for each subscriber that uses your referral link to visit myTracks and eventually become a member. Your referral link is created when you register. For example: www.myTracks.com/BandXYZ

New CD Releases? myTracks will pay you an additional $ 6.00 for each of your eligible referrals when you release a new album/CD (per 12 month release cycle).

Referral fees are paid to you in addition to your payments for downloads! As long as your referred members stay on myTracks, you have a locked in annuity. Who else is offering this?

2. Getting paid for your downloads
myTracks does not charge per track. It is an unlimited subscription service where payments to artists are based on the percentage downloads an Artist drives on the overall system.

The key to making the most money is to make as much of your music available as possible to increase your percentage of downloads. To date, myTracks download payments have been averaging around 72 cents a track. Now, add on your referral payments… Do the math!

3. Licensing Opportunities
myTracks has an extensive line of media relationships that is creating opportunities for artists to license their music. We know how important the additional revenue and the national exposure are to you.

I’m already on iTunes. Why should I sign-up with another service?
There is no question the iPod is the ubiquitous benchmark for playing music. BUT, if the average pod owner only has 12 paid-for tracks on their iPod, don’t you think it’s time to try something new to sell more of your music?

Even if you make a decent amount selling singles on iTunes, wouldn’t it be smart to have an additional way to make a little more?

We have a way to help you re-connect with today’s music fans. It’s easy. And we have a plethora of music promotions opportunities that can help you reach even more eyeballs and ears.
