"An outstanding artist" (TAXI A&R) and "gifted songwriter" (The Deli Magazine), Eddie originally hails from Long Island, NY. He got his first regular gig while at college in New Orleans, where he opened up for local bands at uptown rock club Jimmy's. Following a brief stint in the U.K. he headed to San Diego, where he initially worked the coffee shop scene and later fronted alternative rock band Idiot Wind. While the band was on hiatus, Eddie recorded his first solo work, an electro-pop EP titled Governortea. Acclaimed as "a musical drug" (Indie-Music.com) and "Something very special indeed" (Splendid Magazine), the disc received rave reviews, worldwide airplay, and placements on MTV's Cribs and 8th & Ocean. In 2005 eddie returned to New York City, where he recorded an acoustic-based demo with producer Kerryn Tolhurst. Tracks from this demo have most recently been placed in award-winning independent film Approaching Union Square and aired on XM Satellite Radio. Eddie currently lives in New York City, where he's trying to figure out what to do next. Stay tuned........... |
